Herbal® Aktiv Peel

How does it work?

Skin peeling is a natural function of our skin. The basal layer of the skin constantly produces new skin cells to replace the older, outer horny layer that is shedding every day. Professional peeling treatments, whether based on synthetic acids, high tech machinery or a compound of herbs, are designed to speed up the cycle of skin renewal. In the process the appearance of the skin is improved. Dead skin cells that make the skin appear dull are removed, the skin’s reflection of light is improved, it appears more ‘translucent’ and brighter.

What is the Herbal Aktiv Peel™ made of?

The Herbal Aktiv Peel™ consists of 100% dried, crushed herbs. It contains no harmful synthetic acids or abrasives.

How does the Herbal Aktiv Peel™ work?

Unfortunately, under TGA restrictions, we are not allowed to properly answer this question. So we are not allowed to claim, for example, that it penetrates into the skin and alters any bodily process other than cosmetic; such as accelerating the natural month-long regenerative cycle of the skin into a 5 day period.

Is the Herbal Aktiv Peel™ safe?

The Herbal Aktiv Peel™ has over 50 years of proven results. Alex Cosmetic is based in Germany, where the products are made. There are no recorded lasting side effects in over 50 years.

How does the skin look after the Herbal Aktiv Peel™ is applied?

Your skin looks great! You appear slightly flushed, as if you have been out in the sun. A few hours after the treatment the redness calms down. Day 3 or 4 you should start to peel, and day 5 you return to the clinic for the Post Treatment to reveal your new skin.
